I grew up in New Hampshire as the oldest of six children. I met my wonderful husband at Bob Jones University in South Carolina and married him in 2005. We live just north of Nashville, TN in a beautiful rural area. We both teach at Jonathan Edwards Classical Academy (www.jecanashville.org) and serve and worship with the wonderful people at Charity Baptist Church (http://www.charityjoelton.com/). We enjoy our two marvelous cats, Oscar and Nolan.
This blog is not primarily about my struggles with infertility. God has given me so much; why should I focus only on what I don't have?
Instead, this blog is about thinking, about the tough questions, about love and beauty and truth and how God is in it all - and how I'm learning that God's joy can be my joy; and about how God can fill every empty place in my life with Himself and how there isn't any better way. It's about knitting and cooking, home and garden, books and music, marriage and family, church and school - because those are the things that God has given me to work with and enjoy.
